Default glove box is stuck close

well yesterday i went to go get my wallet from my glovebox since i wearing my shorts and had no pockets. wehn i tried opening it up it wpuldnt open i thought it was locked so i tried unlocking it and it wouldnt move and now my glove box is stuck close with my wallet in there lol. im sure i wasnt locked. so if anyone knows how to remove the glovebox while its still closed please let me know. its cinco de mayo and i have no access to any money lol. thanks in advance guys.

unbolt it from the bottom and drop it down.

Hahaha, I swear if my glove box ever locked shut on me it would be game over for it lol. Well at least for the latch hahaha.

my glove box is full of paperwork and crap that i havnt cleaned out but imma try to take it apart from the bottom. imma look in the service manual if it shows anything. thanks for the input guys. happy cinco de mayo.

well the service manual was no help. it only shows how to remove and install not how to break in it.

if you take out the bolts that are underneath you should be able to maneuver it enough to loosen whats caught. Not sure if you able to reach up in the back very far but there are also 2 platic clips that hold the glove box up as well. I will take pics of what im talking about when i get home from work if you still need help figuring it out.

Does the latch move?
If the latch moves then something in caught where the latch goes in on the inside. If the entire assembly from the outside is not moving then just try to access it from the bottom. Let us know how it goes!
