I'm not sure but I don't think you can take it out I think you would have to go to honda and just buy new bulbs from them

 

Hey. I "changed" my bulbs in both my gauge cluster and climate control (I took them out and painted them) and I think the bulbs are #74. If I'm not mistaken, the bulbs are wedge bulbs and you just pull them straight out (be careful of course). These links might help you.

i belive they are 74. your not really going to be able to find these, either buy them from honda or autoimlumination.com has them and i have bought a few times from them.

 

not sure where else they sell them other than honda, and to remove them just use a flathead (they have a groove on them for it)

I did mine but with amber lightbulb and came out like this, anyway i have a 96-98 center console

Bump for a little more info. One of the 2 bulbs behind my blower speed/vent selector is burnt out. I took them out to inspect them, and they're not wedge #74 bulbs. They're about the size of 74s, except instead of being a wedge bulb, they have two fairly long wires that wrap around the plastic bulb housing to hold it in and also to make contact with wherever its screwed in.
I saw a few posts ago about being able to find them at RadioShack, but when I stopped in there earlier, they didn't have one. Which is bringing me to my last resort, which is going to the dealership. I just find it hard to believe that we can't find this certain bulb online! Does anyone know of a place besides the dealer? It's been 4 years since the last post on this subject. Surely SOMEONE has found a place.
