ok stock gsr waiting for tune date to come. t3/t4 turbonetics .63 turbo. spooling performance mani. with a spoolin performance downpipe and dump tube. 525 injectors walbro blah blah. i just hope its not detonation i hear. it sounds like its coming from my manifold. and i think its my gasket shaking cause number 4 cylinder has one bolt missing. but not that much of a leak there. can someone describe what would happen if i was getting detionation. its a repeated sound not just one tick. couple ticks untill i let go of throttle. like around 3 psi of boost it starts. my basemaps are making me run really rich so i dont think im detonating. unless its still possible.

why not spend your time fixing the bolt for the manifold instead of running an untuned engine.

Chances are it's not detonating, it's a pretty distinctive sound... the clicking sounds like either the manifold rattling, or the exhuast leaking from the manifold... if it's spooling I wouldn't be worried about his end... lol... i'd quit running your engine till it gets tuned though.

Point being if you're not comfortable enough to know whether or not your car is detonating then you should under no circumstance be running it in boost till it gets tuned.

replace the gasket and make sure there are all bolts are on the manifold, it almost sounds like there might be a leak coming from ur manifold? and I would never bring a untuned motor into boost not good. Get it tuned asap!!.
