Default rotas....with hubcaps

first....dont get your panties in a bunch with this question
but i only have one set of steeelies on 1 car. the other car
has 15" slipstreams..they are ugly but light. im putn DOT slicks on them
and i want them to look as stock as possible

1 out of 346346 prolly has tried to put a hubcap on an aftermarket wheel..
but hopefully that 1 will say "yeah itl stay on"
will it? any ideas on how to keep a hubcap on?

I don't think they look all that bad imho, but on my oem hubcaps the bolts usually go over the plastic face.

i dont think its legal to race w/ hubcaps on... at least at the tracks here is WA. can be a safety hazard if they fly off

my old ones, you had to take the lugs off, then put the hub caps on, the lugs nuts held them on.

Yeah, if you get some factory covers they should hold just by the fact that the lug nuts hold em on.

Oem hubcaps wont work though. Look at the center of the wheel. The lugnuts go farther in and at the moment these knuckles have been taken off and xtnded wheel studs are gettn put in. I think only the snap on ones will work www.jegs.com sells DOT slicks for $300 shipd for 2

That's very true. Might be a long shot but you could try chevy lug nuts (IIRC are 12x1.5 also) They have threads on em that the factory wheel covers thread onto.

You might be able to run a cobalt hub cap. They are 4x100 and screw into the lug nut itself.

So if the threads don't reach you could always get extended lugs and just put the Chevy lug nuts right on top of the ones holding the wheels on.
