hey so what r the bad sides to using single cam injectors in a gsr, untuned using a gsr ecu. i know it will b lean cuz they're about 30 cc smaller, my spark plugs are gettting white pretty fast. willl it hurt a motor that's being broken in?
^^ incorrect.. check this site.http://www.phearable.net/tech/stockinjectorsizes.html and also i would not recommend getting diff size injectors and running untuned thats not good for your motor man.
here's an old school site that i always used for injector info. i worked with this guy on some of them back in the day, using info from a few sources including ACCEL.

to the OP; you should really have a baseline tune esp with a fresh engine. is the build out of factory spec in terms of compression, cams, etc? you don't want to dilute the oil, wash the cyl walls down during break-in, etc.
some people take a fresh engine and break it in on the dynapack, then tune it. i remember this dude nate tasukon, who now works for motec, used to build engines and take them immediately to do final tunes, flogging the things. i never really felt good about that ; )

well they are from the d15b8 so i've been running 55cc too low. my compession is at 185 in number 1 and 80 in the rest. i think the lean mixture had a lot to do with it.
Im doing good btw. How have you been?
no, he means the actual head of the valve not seating properly in the valve seat, thereby allowing much compression into the intake or exhaust.
a leakdown test is the way to go here.

i did put new rings in, y the hell would i call it a rebuild and not do that. but no i did not check the valve seats cuz i didn't wanna pull the valves out. i did a leak down test and the cylinders with low compression did not hold pressure becuz the rings did not seal right.
the reason i want to change out the rings again becuz they obviously didn't seat right. so when im gunna take the head off and have the valve seats checked

im doing good. just working on my car. rear tire popped on the freeway, spun out, hit a pick up and ended on the side of the road. THANKFULLY!
OP, take your head to a shop so they can fix it. and while your at it, if you have funds also, get a 3 angle valve job and a port and polish
