Default Running rough.. Need help

I have a 99 Civic HX. I don't race it, just commute. I drive my car on a daily basis with no problems what so ever for the past 5 years. This morning I drive my car I feel a lag. My car was jerking everytime I shift. I didn't pay no mind. After a few mintues my car starting to drive rough. I had to get to work so I drove all the way to work and I tryed to take out the spark plugs to see if it there was a problem there. I tried to take out the first plug and It was filled with oil and the plug seem to be melted from the top looking in and was unable to take out the plug. All the other plugs seemed fine.

How do I fix this problem? What type of problem is it?

well the oil on the plugs is because your seals on the inside of the valve cover are bad.
thats an easy fix less than 20 bucks and 30 mins or less to fix.
your plugs being melted is a much more serious issue.
is your car overheating? something is not right either timing or the car is detonating due to a fuel problem.
i wouldnt drive the car anymore until you figure out why its melting your plugs.

There are no overheating issues. Tonight I will attempt to replace my valve cover gasket, spark plug seals, and spark plug.

Hope everything turns out ok. I once had a burnt sparkplug and it was due to me not installing it correctly the first time. It was seated incorrectly.

As for the oil, that could have just compounded the issue.
Best of luck.

Hey guys thanks for the reply's. I went to the local Kragen and picked me up a spark plug, valve cover gasket and spark plug seals. I went home and the wife and I went straight to work. It took about an hour for us to install everything and clean up. No luck! So I went back with the wife and picked up the last 3 spark plugs and spark plug wires. On the drive back I thought if this doesn't work then I would have to bring my car to an auto shop which I do not have any time for. So, I go back and install everything and it work!!!!! Hoooray!!
