Default the mystery mobile

recently picked up a 91 crx. no idea what model, i do know it's not an si. it has the d15b2 dual point in it and everything in the engine bay looks good...but the dash and the dash harness are out. i've got the harness snaked through the firewall as it should, and the ecu/blower motor crap plugged in, but the drivers side/fuse panel are a mess. i can't seem to find the right plugs for half of them.

does anybody have a pic of how the harness is routed behind the dash? more specifically around the steering/fuse panel.

the bastard plugs...

-ignition coil
-fuse panel
-chasis harness that runs up from the drivers side rocker panel.

i have the sub harness that plugs into the cluster and the hazard/dimmer. i found the plug for the wipers...can't find the one for the turn signals. it seems like i have 20 female plugs and 5 male plugs.

it's cold, i don't feel like looking through wiring diagrams. if somebody has a picture i can go by, i'll take it from there.

Some of those plugs may plug into the fuse box itself. Also, a couple of those plugs are very similar to each other and could easily be plugged into the wrong connector, so pay attention to the wire colors on both sides before you plug them in. Some plugs may not be used, depending on if you have air cond., etc. Now would be a good time to buy the manual for the car. Dual point = not Si model. Good Luck.

i've pretty well got everything set up now...i think i may have some plugs backwards. does anybody have a picture of the front and back of a crx fuse panel with everything plugged in?

checked wiring diagrams and they show nothing as far as what can go where. i'm only concerned about the wide 4-pin plugs.

Can't be any more "Oh $h!T!" than mines: LOL

I've been taking my time reading the Honda Manual (which can be downloaded) and labeling the groups of wires. I'm still lost...but not as much as before.
...it may help you out also!

i sorta got mine figured out. the mystery plugs were relays that weren't even there.

my issue is that i'm cleaning up the mess some one else made. i traded a pitbike for my crx and the issue with the crx was that the main harness was pulled...and a lot of wires cut.

i finally got it to crank today...everything works (wipers/signals/lights/blower/yada yada) but i can't get power to the fuel pump now. main relay is good, i don't even have power to the yellow/black wire on that plug...the only power i have is to the sending unit for the fuel level.

so the nightmare continues...
