Default Help grabbing check engine light

I have a 93 Civic with the check engine light on.

This is exactly what I see when I try to look for the connector to short.

Do I have to remove all of that electric tape or am I missing the place entirely?

missing the connector entirely. Come back towards the glove box, it should be close to that top ecu bolt closest to the door, might be bundled with another connector in a green rubber boot, at least mine was.
