sorry if im one of thoes annoying noobs who cant find a certain post but at least i tryed the search like with 13 diffrent phrases. ok my question is can some one link me or does some one know the part number for the d15b tec lsd transmission? if some one could tell me that would be great i think i have a lead on one at a wreckers

Other than that you'll have to pull an axle to see if its open diff or LSD.

Part number won't do anything as its not new from Honda Japan still in the OEM bag.

 

couldnt you jack it up and put it in to gear and turn one wheel and if they both spin the oppsite way its a lsd? or does this not apply to honda lsd transmissions

 

opposite is open, same is lsd...

Incorrect. Helical LSD spins just the same as an open diff.

 

helical as in quiffe and obx style lsds ?

 

MFactory, Quaife, Torsen, OBX, etc

 

Depending on the preload.......
