Wanted to know what muffler and intake to get?
So I have a 09' civic si sedan, and I was wondering what company to get my intake and muffler from? Another thing is that I live in california so I need it to be CARB approved
.
I know AEM has a cold air intake but i was thinking of a injen intake.
For my muffler, i wanted something that has 3 inch pipe and maybe even came with a silencer just in case my parents got mad at me for the noise
Any suggestions will be nice.

Edit: you must be like 16 years old huh?
well actually this is my first car i'm going to work on but right now i just want to get a little bit of horsepower for not such a large amount of money
Better yet, learn about the car first before you change stuff out.
i was thinking Greddy for the exhaust and then i was planning on waiting for the intake because i want to make sure i get something CARB approved but i wanted to know what you have on your 08' civic
What Greddy exhaust are you looking at? Greddy SE or SP2 get my vote. I know i-vtec would concur.
i'm not sure yet but thanks for the help...i'm still just wondering right now i'm more concerned with helping my brother with his B18 swap he wants to get from password jdm

You can go to youtube and check out many vids of exhaust. I love my Greddy Evo 2 catback DCRH. I also love my Takeda SRI.
Read up on what is CARB legal and look at what style exhaust you want. Why would you wnat a 3in exhaust? Have you ever heard of back pressure? To keep noise down get a SRI and get a 2.5in or 60mm catback. Greddy is a good company.

I spent about 3 months reading before I started to understand what parts are good for my car and why.
I'll help you out with what I am leaning towards, K&N SRI, BCRH, Magnaflow short cat, Apexi WS2 exhaust. That should allow me to pass emissions in Canada

the aem sri is carb that's what i have if for my car. that's the reason i got it cause it's carb. i really wanted to get the injen cold air but i show its not carb approved so i willing to wait till that happens... but for exhaust i don't really care for quite one so i chose the skunk2 70mm exhaust, and i loving it now.. nice and good sound... and the good thing also it comes whit a silencer so if i get pulled over i can just pop that in....
