I was just wondering how many of you wire up the city lights? And what type of bulbs do u use for them? I just bought myself a set of black housing headlights with vision corners and hidz for my eg. Just looking for some ideas on how to hook up the city lights. And what bulbs would look best. Color wise and brand wise.

The bulbs are 168/194. And you wire them to your parking lights (and you are supposed to cut power to the parking light).

 

?? well i figured powering them with parking lights. But how do i make it cut off when i turn on my headlights?

The city light took the place of the parking light. There was no parking light in Japan. You can wire it however you want it though.

 

But does that sound right?

i'm getting some and i'm thinking of just splicing them in and having the corner and the city light at the same time just cause i have the pswd:jdm smoked corners. but make sure you tap the wire for the parking light and not the turn signal that would suck lol

 

i have mine wired up to come on with my park lights. i think its looks funny w/ no park lights, and my buddy actually got stopped and questions by a cop for it. your headlights will cover them up when they are switched on though.

 

your suppose to run the positive to the positive on the corner lights and connect the negative to the positive on your head light...it makes the city lights turn off when you turn on the headlight

 

Thats what i was trying to confirm.
