i like atleast 3 hrs away from any tuner, so i found a place that said i can send my ecu to them and they will chip it to my set up(jdmb16/turbo/t3/t4,240dsm,8lbs) to get it going safely, is this an option for me or do i have to put it on a dyno to avoid messing it up? btw they charge 80 bucks for this service

 

if its a reputable company then yes. but as soon as you get it back and running you need to head to the dyno for a proper tune. mail order basemap might be close to get you to a dyno safely but its still not tuned.
