If you can afford it. Go with coilovers.

You don't really need coilovers if it is your daily driver.

Just get springs and some good shocks like koni yellows.

Coilovers are nice because you can adjust your ride height.

Get springs.

Everyone fools themselves thinking they will go through the hassle of raising/lowering their car further at a whim, and they end up setting the height and leaving it. Unless your wife is hardcore, take the coilover money and as stated above buy GOOD shocks and springs.

don't go with something that will drop the wifey's car too low, she'll destroy the car in no time and you'll deff hear about it.

I say get some good springs that are good for what the car is going to be used for and some good shocks ull be around $900 or if you want full coilovers spend like +$1500 and get some good one but if you get some cheap stuff you dont want them to blow on you in 4 months or so cuz you get the $600 full coilovers and now you have spend another $600 to get something like the first one you get but this one is a different color and + the time and work thats going to go in it.

the people here dont know what there talking about 900 for springs and shocks please. and 1500 for good coilovers yeah right. You on the right track with function and form but dont get the type 1s. Type 2s are around 900 and youll never give her the car back once you drive it. ask me how i know. because i have them

tanabe makes a nice lowering spring. I used them with stock shocks and they rode better than my skunk2 full coilovers.
