well, i bought a secondary 02 sensor a while back but i never got around to putting it in, i bought it off ebay, its a secondary denso sensor part #2340008280, but im not sure if it fits. I tried looking up the number but i am not getting anything, the number above is off the sensor im not sure if that is the part #. When i bought it, it states that it works for del sol 96-00 civics, but I know that the s and si del sol came with the the b15 and d16z6 motor and their obd1 engines,

THe bottom line is will this sensor fit my dx auto, its a secondary sensor so im assuming that its not that big of a deal as it is only picking up the cat.

What year is your car? What engine do you have? CEL code P0420?

Those OBD1 engines don't use secondary 02 sensors, and 96-00 Civics/Del Sols have D16Y_ and B16A2 engines.

If your car is OBD2 96-00 that sensor will work if it is the right one.
