Icon6 Motor Swap Questions

What is the difference between a B18C TYPE-R ITR 98+ and a B18C TYPE-R 96+? Would either one of them work for a motor swap into my 2000 Honda Civic Si? Is one better than the other? If someone can give me an answer ASAP cause im waiting on buying the motor until im for sure the differences thanks.

Default Re: Motor Swap Questions

Both swap will work for your 2000 Civic Si.

And I think you should use the search button for comparing the 98 itr vs 96.

I think the only difference about the motor is one of them has a better Final Gear ratio.

Correct me if I am wrong.
