when i turn on my lights my back lights wont go on..i tried running a wire from the batterey to a switch and ran a wire connecting the two tailights but i blew a fuse and my inside lights dont work and my tailight went out...any idea on how to fix the problem please!

Are all the rear lights not working or just the reverse lights.If its just the reverse lights the reverse switch on the trans controls them.I would check the fuses under the dash and the bulbs first then check the wires to see if there is a break in the wire then last check that switch

 

is it possible to run wires from the lights to the battery? and have a switch for them?
