I recently put a rebuild torque converter to my 93 civic dx.
The car goes but won't shift gear around 40 mph. It will go all the way
up to redline without shifting. My L and D2 worked okay,but D3 and D4
will go up to redline w/out shifting gear. What can this be? Can this be my tranny or lock up solenoid? Plus i use genuine honda atf fluid.Help!

 

.... did the car do that before with the old torque converter? reason why i ask its because i remember the same problem happen to me but i dont remember which i change first i believe it was the torque converter but didnt work with a new one then changed transmission
