Default Manual brake thoughts

I found a few discussions, most seem to be focused on removing brake boosters and a few were specific to the direction I was heading... but seemed slightly distasteful to hijack an old thread.

I plan on installing a reverse swing mount setup, and replacing the power booster and oem master cylinder. I was planning on a dual master cylinder setup with a balance bar. The options tend to be a bit confusing, and everywhere I look doesn't give a good base to start from.

My intent is to bias as much towards the front as possible. I am not sure how to choose sizes of master cylinders to fulfill this need.

I looked at the wilwood unit first, they look ok from what I can see, their tech department responds to emails which I like. I was pretty set on the CNCbrakes setup, saw a few cars with it but in a few threads people praised the tilton unit. The big draw of the CNC one was the fact that brakes and clutch could be independent of each other.

if you are deleting the booster you always want to go smaller on the bore for your master. all the delete kits come with the 3/4inch master from wilwood. it is worth it in drag racing to save weight but its only about 6lbs total. every little bit counts

I used a 3/4 and it worked good. I had the reverse mount Wilwood setup with a "dummy" m/c and one 3/4 for the front brakes. I used a staging brake for the rear.
