Default Timing Help 90 civic

Was up need help hears what ai got.Did stock engine swap on 90 civic.When I put my timing belt on I set the crank at TDC and I made sure with the white line on the pullie.Alsoset my cam sprocet in the up spot just about at 11 oclock or so.SO I think thats ok.Now when I check my ingition timing it was off.I had to move the dizzy all the back(close to the fire wall)to get close to 18 degrese.WTF What do you guys think.Car runs good some days and bad other days.Spark plugs look white last time I pulled them.Only code car will show is O2 sensor. Thanks for help.

which engine? - camshaft timing marks are set differently on the D16A6 from the D15B1, D15B2, D15B6

Stock engine was the d15b2 and i put in D15b1 when I got the belt it was for the d15b2
