geta haynes repair manual. makes it so much simpler. their is marks on the camshaft sproket and marks on the crankshaft sproket. take out number 1 spark plug which is located closest to your timing belt. take out the plug and find something to go into the whole and rotate the engine slowly from the crank useing the bolt that held the harmonic balancer in place.once that stick goes as high as it goes and no more. than the engine is at TDC. then on the camshaft sproket it has 2 marks one pointing left one pointing right and on top of the sproket it says top and TDC. then put on you belt.

OR turn the camshaft and take off the disturbutor cap and turn da crank untill the rotor points at the number 1 spark plug wire.

Good luck Man !

What do you mean? he took the dizzy off and spun it? if so then it only goes in one way so it wont go in wrong.

I think hes saying he adjusted the ignition timing at the dizzy. Youll want to set that back where it was after you do the belt. A haynes or better a helms will be you best friend for any job you have.
