Default Skunk 2 troubles....

I'm going to make this as short and as possible

My setup: 90 civic lx sedan, Skunk2 Pro-s coilover setup( coilovers + shocks) Skunk 2 front camber kit. wheels 15X8 equips +10 offset

Ok, so I want to keep the car as low as it sits now and still be able to tuck these wheels under the fender wells. I installed the front camber kit and adjusted it as negatively as possible but for some reason it actually RAISED the front end of my car about .5"-1.0" and now I hear this knocking noise comming from the front whenever I drive, and the front suspension feels extremely tight! All I did was put the camber kit on WTF!!! Can somebody tell me what I did wrong or if there are any solutions so that I can keep my car slammed and still tuck these wheels underneath....Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The skunk balljoints are taller than stock. You must be running so low that you had near zero clearance with the stock balljoint(WAAAY too low). In which case the ball joints are hitting the shock towers now. Only solutions, remove camber kit or raise car.

Which camber kit did you use, the control arms?

If you didn't use the control arms then look with a flashlight and you will see your upper control arms are hitting the pinch weld.

If you did use the control arms (I doubt it) then something is wrong. Skunk2 control arms are the same as stock but more rigid and the movable ball joint is only 1/4" or so taller; I have a hard time believing it is hitting the upper wheel well.

The symptoms you describe is almost always from the upper control arm resting on the pinch weld; this leads your car to not actually going all the way down.

Someone else measured it for me and it was more like 3/4" taller. I had the same thing happen to me with the spc adj. balljoints and I wasn't anywhere near as low as the OP. I had pretty soft springs at the time though which didn't help the situation.

That's the thing, I did use the skunk 2 control arms. That's why I can't figure out WHY I'm having these problems. I'll be sure to post pics...

Well I'm sorry it took so long but here's some pics...

Here's how the car sits now, yes I know it's to low in the rear but the front is what I'm worried about now...

the kit

Installed...

and here's the height in the front...

Your assumption is correct you are probably hitting your a-arms.
