Default 05 honda odyssey malfunction indicator..

hi,
i recently notice there was a check fuel cap light came in my 05 honda odyssey touring. i did reclose the fuel *** and tighten it . but after that the light didn't go. so after one day, the (check fuel light) went. but the malfunction indicator lamp light stayed.

so please tell me what to do.

You could get the retrieve the code for the CEL right away the dealer $$ or for free at Autozone etc. then do a search here on the code.

Or you could wait a few drive cycles to see if the CEL will clear on its own. Me, I would be curious to see what the PCM is saying...

Was the cap actually loose? If not, it could be failing. Wait to see if the code passes over a few days.
