Yeah, but for a little more you can get the ever poular K series. Can't you convert LS to Vtech for cheaper than a swap though. or just boost it. Many options here. H series is another. I wonder if a C32b will work?

lol, is there sarcasm in this or are you drunk lol?

An obd2 b18c would go just fine with vtec wiring added. K series is a good mention but if you plan on building the motor, might as well go with b series since it'll be cheaper

so just as long as its an obd2 it'll be alright. as in i wont have to do too much to it besides the vtec wiring.

It'd be a really easy swap. There may be some little things like knock sensors or things like that but it should be really close or exact besides vtec

Just go with the JDM spec type R. You can find a complete b18c type R around $3200-3800 from 96-98+ depending on the year. I suggest not from hmo. N1concepts got the 96-97 for $3500. It's worth it. Think about it, low mileage and complete, not a thing missing. $2900+ shipping for a gsr isn't worth it in my book. Then you might as well buy a used usdm gsr and rebuilt with type r internals and spank the jdm gsr and type r's *** for less money or around the same price.

Used usdm b18c1~$900
type r cams~$250-300
RS type r pistons/pr3 w/rings~$170
b16/gsr tranny~$500
Etc...you get the idea.

Yea, you guys talked me outta getting a GSR so im leaning more towards a type r or building an LS VTEC.

i was thinking about that too but i think it might be more of a hassle if something goes wrong plus i hear alot of oiling leaking LS VTECs from the head and this and that. But i will look into this. any idea on how much im looking at for a good running LS VTEC motor? i would use my bottom end obviously and try to find b16 head but dont plan on nothing insane. like fully built maybe, a simple cam and rod setup. best bang for buck type if you know what i mean. comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.
