yo honda-tech im gonna install a short shifter on my gsr, i think the stock shifter throw is too long.
What kinda short shifter do u guys recommend, brand, bend etc? And whats your experience with it like?

yeah it makes a bigger difference its shorter throws. but it all depends on how comfortable it is to you. i personally prefer a short shifter.
I have a TWM Performance dual bend short shifter. They have 3 different models that range in throw reduction and shifter hieght. The dual bend is the least aggressive and "closest" to stock while still giving a nice reduction in throw.
Ive had mine for 4 years and it works as well now, as it ever did...And alot of my friends have TWM shifters too and I've never heard of a problem.

If I buy a http://www.coolcarpartsonline.com/pe...hifter-p-12624 then don't you need a gear box mount, or something of that sort to prevent grinds? Or can you just replace the stock shifter with the aftermarket one?
i put a short throw in my DA yesterday and man what a difference. Didnt realize how bad the shifter bushings where the shifter itself mounted to the linkage was...all the loosness dissapeared while shifting.. I vote for skunk 2!

If your "short shifter" puts it further from your hand, you're doing it wrong.
