Default b16a2 problem

Hello (sorry for my english)

I have a 1.6L 99-00 Civic Ek4. My engine is a b16a2. I usually read post, experiences and try to learn by my way but now need some advise. My actually configuration is:

- Injen CAI
- Toda Racing exhaust header
- Ramdom-tech 2.5" 100cell cat
- Buddy Club Spec II 2.5" exhaust system with HKS universal 2.5" muffler
- P28 whit Hondata S300
- Exedy Clutch Stage 1
- Act 12.5lb Flywheel
- Skunk2 Tuner ST2 cams, camgears, springs and retainers
- Innovate Wideband LC-1

Before install cams i haven't any problem, but now my problem is when Vtecs starts the car sound louder but goes like or worse than when vtec isn't engage until 7500rpm. Briefly between 6000 to 7500 rpm the car doesn't responds, when pass 7500 seems to start to go better. Now i'm runing a stock Integra map for vtec maps, i tune fuel maps using LC-1 readings, the problem i think that could be the ignition maps but i don't know, i think that runing cams whit degree camgears could change enough timing.

What do you think?

Anybody know where could i find tuned maps for my configuration?

Many thanks anyway.Ciaoo.

Try contacting these guys and see about purchasing a basemap for your car:

It sounds like a tuning related issue you have. Your VTEC engagement point will have to be changed after you install cams as well as cam gear settings and air/fuel ratios, even timing.

yeah your problem is running a integra map for vtec, bring your car to the best tuner you can get to and have them tune the s300 on the dyno, you will have a better powerband and have better hp and tq, once you get it tuned properly it will run like a raped ape
