Default Weird problem....Need help

The other night when I was driving home on the highway, my check engine light came on. While I was driving, I pulled back the carpet and I could of sworn the ECU was flashing a code 2, but I looked in my Haynes manual and there isn't a code 2. The car was fine for a few minutes. Then all of a sudden it lost power and bogged. I tried downshifting and flooring it but nothing. So I pulled over and turned the key all the way off and then tried to start the car. It started right up and ran fine. The car has been fine since then. But today it did it again, but this time the check engine light didn't come on. I turned the car off and then it started right up again. I drive a 89 Civic Si. Does anyone have any suggestions? What is causing this? Thanks in advance.

youre correct, there is no code 2 for your make/model. code 2 is for secondary O2 sensor, which you dont have. you more than likey have an electrical problem somewhere or it could be your ECU.
