What rad hose to use with B16?? Hoses are bigger than the rad openings!!!
Anyone has this problem? I am running b16 in an EF but the rad hoses and the rad openings are difference sizes. The hoses for the b16 are bigger than the openings of the rad, are there any special hoses that I can buy so they will fit perfectly? Or do you use the smaller hoses and try to fit into the b16 engine? Thx.
http://www.hasport.com has your info... like 92 gsr for the bottom and 90 teg upper.. I think...
hey thx alot for the fast reply, those are really helpful, just one more question, are the rad from EF the same as a DA? Thx.
Just use B-series hoses listed and use hose clamps on the smaller D series radiator. Its a lot easier to clamp them down, than to try to stretch D series hoses over the B16 fittings.
Hose clamps can break the radiator spouts if tightened too much. Be careful and tighten as necessary, check for leaks, but dont over tighten.

Thats i don't want to have to clamp the hose down to smaller size, I am looking for something thats perfect fit

In my ef I'm running a DA radiator. It fit perfect, but I had to ditch "the header fan", because the radiator is bigger. It's not a problem though, because it runs so cool now, the other fan doesn't come on....ever. I never get above the normal temp either. I use '90 integra hoses, and they fit perfect on the radiator and the block.
