Default What rad hose to use with B16?? Hoses are bigger than the rad openings!!!

Anyone has this problem? I am running b16 in an EF but the rad hoses and the rad openings are difference sizes. The hoses for the b16 are bigger than the openings of the rad, are there any special hoses that I can buy so they will fit perfectly? Or do you use the smaller hoses and try to fit into the b16 engine? Thx.

Just use B-series hoses listed and use hose clamps on the smaller D series radiator. Its a lot easier to clamp them down, than to try to stretch D series hoses over the B16 fittings.

Hose clamps can break the radiator spouts if tightened too much. Be careful and tighten as necessary, check for leaks, but dont over tighten.

Change out your radiator then if you want perfect size (ie.....Teg, JDM EF rad). And/or find a small thin rubber sleeve. You will not find one to fit perfectly, since all b-series naturally came equipped with bigger outlets. The only other alternative is to use the flex hoses, but then again can you deal with the flex hose look? Oh yeah one more thing, from my research all GSR (to include 92-93 models as well) all had a question mark "?" shaped upperhose. You want to use a 94-95 (not 96+) Del Sol b16 upper hose. The upperhose you're looking for looks like a boomerang with a handle at one end.

In my ef I'm running a DA radiator. It fit perfect, but I had to ditch "the header fan", because the radiator is bigger. It's not a problem though, because it runs so cool now, the other fan doesn't come on....ever. I never get above the normal temp either. I use '90 integra hoses, and they fit perfect on the radiator and the block.
