Default Sway bar question

I have a 2000 EX, lowered with s.techs on KYB gr2's. It's a dd and I don't plan to do any autocrossing or anything but I do like to have a little fun on the backroads from time to time.

I have an opportunity to pick up a front and rear swaybar plus hardware from a gsr for next to nothing. Will it be worth the hassle to install them?

Your EX already has a front sway bar. If you can get it super cheap, the rear sway bar would be a good upgrade.

Yeah, maybe throw on the front (if it even fits, I've never bothered to find out) if you have extra time, but definitely throw on the rear.

It would definitely help some. Reduce some of that extra body-roll.

The rear bar is a go for sure then. According to the info I've found the EX front bar is 22mm but the GS-R front is 24mm so would changing the front make any kind of improvement? I noticed the em1 Civic Si is 26mm, maybe I should find one of those.

Yeah i would install both of them for sure but I would first measure the thickness of the bars to see the difference especially if ur ex doesnt have a rear sway bar make sure it comes with the D brackets with bushings, endlinks, and ur rear lower control arms are suitable for a sway bar (must have a threaded hole where the endlinks connect to). Hopes this helps...

Slap them both on! Nothing to lose, everything to gain!

You dont really want to go bigger in front because that will just make the front want to slide more. But adding a rear bar will make a nice difference in handling. What kind of tires are you using?

Currently Kumho Solus KR21 on stock steelies but I've got a set of Buddyclub SF's waiting for 205/45/16 Falken Ziex 912's that should be in next week. No budget for high dollar tires just yet.
