Default 98 Accord major loss of power

So I was driving last night and was in 3rd gear 7krpm in VTEC, then the engine just bogged down and lost power. It is still running with a major misfire, and sounds like a lawn mower.
I checked:
plugs
wires
timing belt
oil
compression
and it was all good and there is no CEL. I am sure I missed several other things, but I am freaking out right now so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
BTW the engine is an H22A4

Like I said earlier I am kind of freaking out over this. Do you think that maybe the VTEC solenoid may have got stuck open?
