Default What is the general consensus on body kits?

I’m in the process of buying a 98 Integra GS 4dr and found a body kit that I really like. This is my first import and I can’t wait to get busy working on her. The hubby and his buddies keep saying “don’t do it”. Here’s what I found and I think it’s very clean looking and not too “ricey” as they put it. I think it will look pretty damn good. I’m going to paint the car white with pink accents to match my Trailblazer SS. I'll be keeping the stock spoiler. Here’s a pic of what she looks like now and pics of the body kit. Too much?

You won't find much support on body kits in this forum, unless its an OEM lip kit or something very simple. That kit you are looking at will fit like crap and just isn't worth the time or money.

But if its what you want then go for it

I beg you don't do it. And your definition of clean an mine appear to differ.

that's actually one of the nicer body kits out there if you're dead set on getting one. no reason to make your car look like everybody else's if you don't want to (disclaimer: i don't condone body kits ).
