throttle lagging..
hi guys..its really annoying this throttle lagging thing...ive red almost every forum about civic si...and all i they said is this flash pro....k tuned booster...reflash...can any body done something like they never change or upgrade your ecu...and never had the lagging problem.....help me guys..im tired of this....it really pis me off...and im always thinking that i burn my clutch a lot because of this....or tell my dealer about this....?? thanks....
the flashpro supposedly gets rid of the rev-hang, but i don't think there's any way to get rid of the delay that happens between hitting the gas pedal and the throttle opening; that's just the nature of dbw.

If your talking about mashing the gas and it takes a second then I would suggest not mashing the gas. When I had an SI I felt like I got better acceleration quickly and steadily increasing the throttle vs just mashing the gas.
If your talking about the rev hang, you can try a throttle body spacer or those uber rev hang removal mods. W/e its called
Or you can just let the rmps drop before you shift.
I just powershifted

It seems that most of the people that complain about DBW have never driven one before and this was their first newer car that had it. My 350Z, 3series, and new work trucks all acted similar to me.
^well, this is the civic we're talking about here, which is more of a "entry-level" car than your 350 or 3-series; i'd bet that for a lot of 06+ civic owners, this IS their first car with dbw. i know that it's my 1st, and the dbw is really the only thing i don't like about my car (that, and the lack of power haha).
i noticed that in every single thread about rev hang, this is your one and only response lol you must have saved this into a note on your computer so u can copy and paste this on call lol

they're usually disappointing.
I admit, the DBW was weird, but I adjusted to it. I just let go of gas sooner before press the clutch. it works for me now instead of me working for the DBW.
