I have recently cleaned out a throttle body on my LS and need to know a few things before i end up buying a replacement.

1.) Can throttle plates warp if you clean it a few minutes after the car was running at it's normal temperature? I used carb & choke cleaner by crc.
2.) I dunno why i listened to someone else and pulled the plate out to thoroughly clean it and thus, it cannot close all the way.
3.) Last of all, does the distributor changes the way our idling behaves? It randomly get stuck at 1.5k-2k RPM between shifts and neutral while at a full stop.
4.) Am i supposed to lube the inner part of the tb where it holds the plate?

Is it time to get a complete tb set or just a plate?

Any help is greatly appreciated since I'm only getting 22-24mpg
