Default 12.5:1 compression in factory civic.

No, really. I just read an article about the Civic GX, which I have never seen, living in Florida. The 1.8L in that car comes with 12.5 to 1!!!! Now, it runs off natural gas instead of gasoline, but I used to work at a place where our trucks ran of propane, and it would've been very easy to change them back to gas. So, here is my thought: The reason E85 hasn't taken off is because it costs almost as much as gas (at least around here), and takes twice as much to go the same distance in FFV. The reason it does that is because it burns so much cooler, it needs more of it to make the same power. So, since E85 has a much higher octane rating (~105) then gas (~87-93), could someone, or has anyone, taken a GX and converted it back to liquid fuel and use just E85? I know it is probably cheaper and easier to just throw a turbo on a regular engine, but this would definitely be a different way of doing things. Just wanted to put the idea out there. Here is the article I read about the GX:

GX article I had just never heard of that model before.
