Metrinch life time warranty?
let me start of by saying, they worked well mainly due to the convience of not having to carry too much tools cause it fits std & metric. Great for portable tool set and light work but if I was doing a swap or I pull out my craftsman.
For those that have ever had Metrinch, have you ever been able to use the life time warranty?
I go to their website:
http://www.metrinch.tv/support/
and call them @
800-637-9274
800-766-3334
but it goes to VM... seems sorta odd.
I have 2 ratchets that need to be replaced & have held on to them because of this warranty. Anytime my craftsman ratchets break I bring it into Sears and get the exchange for free.
Any help or insight would be greatly apperciated.

Great service. I got a call back from a rep of the company that provided me a address to send broken tool to. I had to pay for shipping and include $10 check for return shipping expense.
Yesterday I recived 2 new ratchets.

Just recently I decided to use the "lifetime Replacement" Warranty to replace a slipping ratchet. I failed to read the part that says after you go to the trouble to box it up and pay to ship it to them, they want you to pay $15.00 to send a replacement back to you. What the hell kind of warranty is that? A set costing this much should have a better warranty policy. And for a broken socket.....$10.00 to replace it. That is not a warranty....that is buying a new socket.
