Hello, did a search but no luck. The engine is 2000 D16y8 and I have this hose that connects to the Air Assist Solenoid Valve(#24 in the picture). I was wondering where does it connect to?

 

 

Thanks for the picture, but now I am kinda confuse. lol. I must have the wrong intake pipe... There is that hole where the pipe/hose from the valve cover goes into and the plug. I don't see another hole or nipple on the intake for that FIA or AASV hose

 

You have the correct intake. The breather hose connects to the intake nipple to the right of the receptacle for the electrical plug and the FIA hose connects to the intake nipple to the left of the receptacle for the electrical plug (not visible in your picture).

 

Nope, just one nipple right from the receptacle. So, I guess I need to find an intake pipe with two nipples and one receptacle.

 

there should be 3, i have a 2000 civic ex also, d16y8 and i have 3 you have the wrong pipe

 

You must have an intake from a 96-98 D16Y8 engine. You need one from a 99-00.

The intake pipe on my 00 Civic EX D16Y8 has 2 hose nipples and one IAT receptacle. Is that what you are saying?

I have a 99 civic ex with a skunk2 intake manifold.. I have a similiar problem related to the fiac valve that hopefully someone can anwser for me please..I cnt seem to find what hose I'm supposed to tap into with a vacuum tee.. I need to find where the hose that comes out of the top of fiac valve belongs.. I know the stock manifold has an inlet between the two middle runners bt on the skunk2 they eliminated it.. so my main concern is where can I attach it to so that I can pass my smog cuz of of now it shows that its been tampered with...

 

what about the M/T housing doesn't have the air assist solenoid valve hose can you run a A/T car with out the air assist soleniod valve i just saw the diagram and i think i want to run it with out it and i was wondering

 

If the skunk 2 eliminates it, then you are **** out of luck. lol. Usually smog places doesn't take the visual inspection serious. As long it doesn't have a CEL and the numbers are good. you should be fine. Just cap it.

 

Why would you want to do this...?

 

b/c the damn thing is 127 and i got the other thermostat housing unit with out the slot for the air assist solenoid and figured i can pull intake off at a junk yard or find one on craigslist and not have to worry about that part but i am not to sure if it is going to work out tho

Honda is pretty much the only one that makes it that I can find. So your only other options is find one on Craigslist on a part out car, ebay, or the marketplace.
