Default 00 ITR swap into 00 ex.no spark CODE 15

first things first i've done numerous swaps and searched for the past week and still cant find my problem, this being said heres the deal.
00 USDM ITR swap into 00 civic ex. attempting to get it to run on stock sohc ECU. (the 00ITR ecu has a immoblizer in it hindering it to get fuel and spark. The sohc ecu will not be used to run the car just temporarily while im waiting on jumperharness and obd1 ecu. no the less the stock ecu should still let the engine fire.
i did the small dizzy plug to larger 96-98 dizzy plug swap. Correct way(depined not hacked) via katmans wiring diagram. also checked my wiring on a friends 00 SI all colors and locations are correct. as long as its the same as a SI...
last week: engine cranks but no fire. Pulled a plug checked for spark, i have none.
tonight i was going over all grounds wiring on dizzy and so forth and noticed the thermostat ground was not on (friend hooked it up while i was preping bay. he had it on a bracket but not on the thermo housing. so i changed over to the thermo housing, had the wife crank the car while i looked for spark....nothing....had her do it again and after about the fifth revolution i saw one faint fire from the plug. then it was gone. figured it was in my dizzy wiring not haveing the pins all the way in. so i depined it and put the leads directly on to the dizzy pins( none were touching at all) ...still nothing.... im now offically stumped...i've been out of the honda game for two years and im hoping someone might post something that will jog my memory on a plug or a something that i forgot...please help its killing me to have a ITR in my garage and not able to drive it....

hmm, that's odd, what engine harness are you currently using?

try plugging the 00ITR ecu in and see if it's throwing any codes and get back at us

would a bad ground let the engine turn over and kick on the fuel pump but stop the dizzy from getting spark???

the 2000 itr ecu has a imobalizer u need to get a diffrent ecu from like a 1996-1999 all 00-01 integras have imobalizers. u might need to use a conversion harness to plug up one of those ecus

update...... converted car to obd1 running on a chipped p28 now. still no spark... got out the (DVOM) digital volt and ohm meter and found i had no power with key on at the blk/yellow wire. I ran a jumper wire from the fuse box (12v) to the blk/yellow. AKA ingition input. Car started and ran perfect! let it warm up at idle in garage, made sure thermo opened. checked coolant ect. all was well. made it 300yds and car started getting hot. pulled it back into driveway to see if fan was pluged in...It was... so i ran a jumper to see if the fan worked. It did... tried to start the car with the fan runnning to cool it off but car wouldn't start. ECU has a code 15 ignition output... dizzy was extremly hot.... hotter than head.... pushed it in last night and left it alone. tried it this morning and still nothing.... any ideas?
