Default b20 cams

I just remembered I have stock b16a2 cams at home. Would swapping the intake cam on my 98 jdm b20 to the b16 one make a difference? I cant find the cam spec sheet here at work.

I said it's a 98, there were only two crv engines in the first gen. Sorry if I though the year made it obvious.

B20B 2.0 16V DOHC PGM-FI 126hp@5400rpm 133tq@4300rpm '97-'98 CR-V (USA)
B20Z 2.0 16V DOHC PGM-FI 146hp@6400rpm 143tq@4500rpm '98-'01 CR-V (USA)

I cant seem to find my cam graph still though.

once again considering you did not mention anything about it being stock or having a vtec head, you leave us empty handed. whether its jdm or usdm and has a non vtec head, which if it is stock that will be the case the cams will not work, vtec cams have a 3rd cam lobe for use in vtec, so non vtec heads cannont be cannot be fitted with vtec cams. heres a usefull tool for you http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine#B20B.2FB20Z

that didnt have any cam specs at all. I know all the information in that link, but you did point out an obvious oversite on my part that makes me want to drive a nail through my ***** for not being awake enough to remember. This is my first time in over a decade that i have a non vtec head. I am not used to even thinking about it or parts that are not vtec related, and neve looked at or messed with ls an crv engines before. I cant believe how stupid i was not to remember what it was that i was even working on.

So I suppose the obvious question I should have been asking, since I cant find my cam spec sheet, is there a difference between the ls and b20 intake cam whatsoever. The same way there is a good enough of a difference between the 00 Si b16a2 and the type-r.

I cant believe I was stupid enough to even mention the b16 cams at all! I guess old trains of thought is hard to get out of.

im just purely guessing and im going to say the b20 would have a bigger cam than the ls would, just for the fact its a bigger motor. but you will have better luck and more traffic in the integra section someone there should have the info for you, i did a quick search for cam specs my self and couldnt find anything either.

thanks for the help. I'm still so embarased I even made a stupid mistake as what I did in this thread! Again, I am not used to this whole non vtec thing. The reason I asked is I could have sworn I saw a thread somewhere, where a kid had a ls cam in the b20, and it was so long ago I got mixed up. I wondered if it would even make a difference. I dont think it will, but since I cant find my cam list spec sheet anymore, might as well ask just in case.
