civic headlights...
I need to replace the headlights on my hatch, but the price I got on new factory pieces are $160 each. I much prefer the look of the projectors, but thought the cost might be higher, until I found CRX projectors for $215 new. Will these fit, and if not where should I look for some? Thanks.
I have a pair of oem headlights with hyperwhite bulbs ($75 bulbs alone) that I'm not using. I'd sell em for $200 shipped, but give me an offer to consider. I'll take pics too, if you want.
Yes, please post a pic. I don't need the bulbs, just the headlight units. Like I said, I would prefer some super trendy projectors, but I have no problem with the OEM pieces.
nice ride 89civic1.8T.
..any pics under the hood or list of mods? I just finished an all motor lsvtec and I'm thinking of setting up a turbo next. Headlights dont look that bad at all. I've seen them with kinda like a carbon fiber lining and it looks good in darker colored cars too. Sorry to pull away from your thread Leets. I'll post the pics in a few minutes.

have 3 sets of jdm headlights that a friend brought back when he was visiting...the look just like the sir headlights but they are the same size as usdm headlights...they use the h4 bulb and dont have a devider for the highbeam...there is no brackets for them the brackets are built into the headlights...they are an aftermarket piece in japan of factory lights if anyone would like them IM me....i have a pic of them
FYI, JDM headlights will have to be rewired to work on usdm plugs. And would need the jdm front end to fit well. (hood, front filler and bumper).
It sounds like the headlights 91cvcsi has are the ZC headlights. The ZC headlights use the H4 bulb but are the same size as our USDM headlights.
Those APC projectors don't look bad, but how do they work? My '89 LX's headlights suck badly on low-beam, though the highs are fine. The rest of the car looks nice btw...I'm a fan of the blacked out look.

I need new headlights and was thinking getting the ZC, but they say they need to be rewired. What needs to be done and how hard is it? also are replacement bulbs easy to find here in the US? thanks in advance
i have a set of OEm 90-91 Civic head lights off my Si.. I got some ZC.. yea need to do some wiring but It was easy.. so if anyone interested in pick up the pair of my oem headlights let me know askin for only $150
Now, my eyesight isn't THAT good, but it does appear that you have the black housing CRX projectors. I'd love to get those, but was told they won't work on a 91 hatch. As for the hatch with the APC projectors... where can I find some for my 91 hatch (all I ever find is "CRX only")? EF_LSVtec... are those headlights off your 88? If so, I'm not sure they'll fit on my 91 (at least that's what I've been told). Also, to everyone with projectors, anyone have problems with the plastic lense turning yellow. I'm kinda turning more towards the stock pieces simply cuz my car's outside all the time, and I don't feel like having yellow headlights.
Here are my headlights. They are APC (don't laugh)
