ITR 4x114.3 + 95 Prelude Upgrade
I've been rolling on the ITR 4x114.3 Conversion for a while and not too long ago my rotors started getting messed up. I brought it to the shop to get them machined but the owner said that it was far from repairable. I do not know where to get new ITR Rotors and was recommended by the shop owner to upgrade to a 95 Prelude Vtec Brake system. I was wondering what I need and where I could find such parts in order to do this conversion.
Also at the same time one of my wheel bearings are humming really bad. I was wondering if anyone knew if the ITR wheel bearings were the same as another. (GS-R, Si, USDM ITR)

In order to upgrade the 4th gen Prelude Vtec rotors on your 4x114 ITR conversion, you will also need to source the ITR caliper from the 5 lug set-up. From there, it should be a direct-fit with no modifications required.
Also, you can contact Marcus from www.heeltoeauto.com and ask for the Fast Brakes Brake Front Rotor for the 96 ITR spec.

1. fastbrakes.com will have the 4X114.3 10" rotor
* you're running 17cl14vn calipers on your 4X114.3 knuckles right now, same calipers which can be found on any 94-01 integra (if it aint broke don't fix it?) this gives to access to easy to find, off the shelf parts; new pads & rotors, some fresh fluid always does a honda right
2. the 95 prelude vtec brake system is actually a common caliper which you can source from any junkyard. this mods a lil more money since you're replacing & installing new parts. the 95 prelude vtec caliper is identical to the front caliper found on ITRs with 11" rotors. the itr caliper is one the biggest single piston caliper honda produces; they are stamped 17cl15vn (and can be found on prelude, accord, accord wagon, cr-v, pilot, legend, rl, cl, tl, vigor, etc). once you source the 17cl15vn calipers, you'll need to find 92-95 prelude vtec 11" rotors & pads. from what i've heard, you'll need to cut the dust shield off to accomodate for the bigger caliper bracket. you'll need to add shims, where the new bracket will meet with the knuckle in order to clear the rotor.
see my thread.... tons of tech info on it.

roastbeefrichie is 100% correct.
... but if your calipers are shot, upgrade to better calipers while your at it. That is what i did. Because of the knuckles you have all you need is:
a) keep your stock rotors and use the 23T bracket with 17CL15VN caliper (same as ITR, 90-97 accord wagon, 94-97 accord v6, 97-01 crv, 96+ prelude vtec).
b) get 11.1" prelude rotors no need to be redrilled mated to 23T bracket & 17CL15VN ITR calipers!
Depends on your budget. Who says you can larger calipers on your stock rotors. It's been done on ef/eg/ek civics with 10.4" rotors since 2002.
