Default Ground control top hat question..

Just curious... but is there any advantage or disadvantage from running the extended top hats in the rear? i've heard ALOT of people run them in the front.. but i don't often hear of people running them all around.. for 120 extra.. if it will improve my ride i'd be more than happy to get them...my spring rates are 450f and 400r.. Thanks everyone..

I personally haven't tried it myself but it should. I was planning to do that to my daily since I am not gonna spend any more $$ making it faster might as well have the ride a little better.

I remember DUT's EK was slammed as hell and he ran them. He said that the ride was good for the height it the car was @ but his upper control arms was smashing the crap out of his shock towers.

I'm running 450f/550r with 4 top hats. I haven't rode over any huge bumps yet(don't want to)....but my ride is great man! For the most part, the roads I drive on are pretty smooth. No complaints with what I have. Later on I MAY go with 350r. I doubt it though, lol. I wanted the sporty feel, and definitely got that. Hands down.

I can't think of a reason why there would be a disadvantage to running them in the rear.

They act as droop limiters.

By extending the upper mounting location, the shock is more extended at the same ride height, which means they "top out" sooner under extension.

And this is one of those "not necessarily a bad thing, but it could be, depending" type of things.

Is there any advantage of having them in the front if my stock hats are fine?
I don't know if I want to pay $100 more...
