Any codes?

Who did your wiring? Sounds like your 2 O2 sensors might be wired backwards.

If the "sluggishness" is more of a stuttering that clears instantly when you get on the throttle (ECU switching to open loop), this is likely the problem. You can check it easily by switching the two O2 pins at the ECU.

Yes, that is what you do. Disconnect your battery while you do it, so when you're done the ECU will be reset.

okay so i attempted to swap the wires. first off i couldnt get the pins out to swap them. i did however connect my water temp sensor it was taped together loosely. i did notice that there are other wires spliced in with the c16 o2 sensor. is this right? just by what i have been reading it shouldn't be like this. also i saw some other wires that were wired intogether. just didn't look right.

so i figured out what the mess of wires were going to the ecu. the wires that i saw spliced together were ground wires. i finally got the two o2 sensor pins swapped. and it runs great now. what i found best to depin them was a sewing needle and a very small pair of needle nose pliers. i pushed the needle in with the pliers then pulled the pin/wire out at the same time that i pulled the needle/pliers out. so thanks for you guys help. SO Happy and relieved that my wiring wasn't all messed up
