92 civic about to be put to the fire
Hey fellow honda peeps, my 92 civic is killing me. It will only crank over if i have the pedal to the floor, then it only runs about 100-200 rpm. when i let off the throttle it dies. Replaced spark plugs, distrib, ecm, fuel pump and filter. No engine check light. Unplugged the TPS while running and made no difference. When it first died on me, it was on the road and it felt like it was slowly loosing power. Compression test were 60-70-70-90 (bad, yeah, i know). Got it to run last night and every thing seemed fine. Actually felt like it was running pretty strong (60mph at less than 2000rpm)then on the way home it started giving me problems.
limped it home at full throttle going about as fast as i could walk. This is turning out to be a real headache.
any ideas?
thanx,
chris
