Just curious if anyone did. They are selling it on GBC for $499 shipped. Dynos looked like they made it up and they took pics of the comptech headers..hehe...DO THEY WORK? my friend has a 6th gen V6 and is looking for headers. Thanks

 

I assume they work, but I would be concerned with quality.

i have talked to a local metal fabricator shop where i live and asked what they thought of them and they said that they looked pretty good considering that the product is stainless steel and is all tig welded they said that it should be just as good as the comptech piece. these guys also quoted me a price for a set of custom headers at about a thousand dollars.

 

usually obx seems to be the rip off brand that just coies the design of a major brand. I wouldnt expect there to be much of a difference between theirs and comptechs. They probably didnt pay much for design of these headers as they are probably exact copies of the comptech ones.

 

My neighbor bout a CAI OBX brand for his 2000 Accord V6 and it did not fit. He had to use twisty ties to hold it in place.... Poor manufacturing....

 

well I had OBX underdrive pullies on my civic hx and they fit fine and looked to be same build quality as AEM's. <shrugs> all companies do make mistakes I guess.
