Default 1990 Manual Transmission Problem Need help Fast!!!

My 1990 Accord dx 5 speed has a trany problem... it started out as every once in a while and now its every time i start the car.... Once started i push the clutch in as usual but i am enable to put it in any gear! It is like i am not even pushing the clutch in.... When this happens i have to ether force it in gear or turn the car off and start it in gear to get it rolling and power shift it to every gear! i have checked the linkage and when the clutch is pushed in the slave cylinder IS moving the arm.... i have bled fluid and replaced it with new ( no bubbles) ... ALSO when the car is still and i push the clutch to the floor a sound comes from the trans like a power steering pump low on fluid??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

You've more than likely got a leak in the clutch release mechanism, you've run low on fluid because of this and have now reached a point where you've lost enough travel that the clutch won't release.
I would look at the Clutch Master Cylinder and then the Clutch Slave Cylinder. They both develop leaks if the fluid's never changed, and it sounds like you're the latest victim.

try inspecting them and let us know if there is a leak.

Check your clutch Master & Slave cyl to see if they're shot; fluid leak.

It's either one or the other, yes
If you take the time to inspect both, you'll find which one is the culprit.

When it comes time to look at the Clutch Master Cylinder, pay particular attention to where it mounts to the firewall; they usually leak at that point - leaving a telltail trail of fluid. Be aware that this could show up under the dash, again on the firewall.

make sure none of the wires get trapped inside the tranny housing. same thing happened to me, was in a hurry to put it back together, and hooking up the wires i find i am missing one connection. FFFFFFFFFFF.
