Even notice how most of us make excuses??? Like me adding the dry rotted Yokos thing!!!
With my new setup, mid 14's is the goal, and then mid 13's with some help from Uncle Giggles...

Thanks, I see you brought it back up. It's amazing that your mph is the same on both runs. One question though, you were using nitrous, right? there is no way in hell you ran that mph with just a few bolt ons on an Si.

Explain what difference that would make? I thought I recall seeing it was a p72? The p28 would lose the second runner support, and would not be using correct fuel/ignition maps. If this is a hondata'd p28 (since you winked), that would explain some of it. I know the open header does not make much of a difference at all, I experimented with it many times and didn't see much or any gain. I think he even confirmed that he ran the same times open header as closed.

Again, was nitrous used?

I did many runs at Greer in the 80s - of course I was driving a '72 Nova w/ a Pontiac V8 stuffed in it... Best there w/ that car was like a 10.08 @ 72.

yeah, i haven't been to the track a lot, so my reaction times usually suck.... plus i can't ever get a good launch, i'm workin on it though. maybe i need to go more often

Shady Side is in Boiling Springs NC.... it's actually in BFE, in the middle of somebody's cornfield, but it's a pretty nice track... there are a lot of guys that come there from the Charlotte area
