Hey Guys and Gals! We finally have an official site and date!
Our 2nd meet will be at Old Town on 192 in Kissimme, Fl just East
of I-4 and Disney on Sunday, November 3rd 2002!
As I mentioned before this will be a swap meet so dust off that
stock muffler and wash those grubby GREDDY gloves!
More details will follow in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

 

In addition to our swap meet we will be helping out XL106.7 Doc & Johnny's baby DJ fund. Details to come, but hopefully we will be able to each bring a toy to the event to give to this worthwhile cause.
If you are planning on coming out to our second event please let me know so we have a better idea on our parking situation at Old Town.

I know about five crx's that will come and three hatches, please tell me hatches are allowed?

How is it a CRX meet if Hatchbacks will be there ? Before you know it there will be EG's , EK's and couple of cavaliers and a Saturn.

This always pisses people off, but it is a CRX meet.

Yeah i guess i can see that, but, i have a pretty nicely done 91 civic si with a b16a and ITR parts all through it. I know that doesn't change much but I never get to be in much due to this same fact " look it's another civic" or " look it's a ricer" and that gets very tiring seeing is I done have altezzas or stickers or light up exhaust like i have seen on alot of crx and civic's alike. 88-91 civic/crx are really close to the same =, once you get past the body. Just my two cents

Mapquest says roughly 687 miles. We'd love to have you guys drive down for this meet. The more the merrier. I know that i'd personally like to see close to 100 CRX's at this meet.

The first meet Ken organized brought in 32 CRX's from all over the state, and this one is being held at an even larger venue that offers much more of everything, which will hopefully help bring in more cars (not to mention the radio adverts that may come courtesy of XL106.7 ). It is sort of a tourist attraction, and rather than taking up a section of their parking lot, we've booked it with them as a regular car show, which means we get to pull the cars inside onto the main drag of the place, where it is normally pedestrian only traffic. There are plenty of shops, games, rides, etc... to keep you guys from getting too overly bored there. If you have never seen Old Town, check out their site at http://www.old-town.com/ . By the way, Ken doesn't have 24/7 access to a computer, so if you are trying to contact him about this event, be patient, he will get back to your questions and such... it just takes him a little bit of time

 

Yea CRX's and Civic's are on the same platform but,,,, The CRX is the CRX and the Civic still looks like a little minivan ! I guess it if you have a CRX meet, You would expect CRX's to be there. Just my 10 cents................

 

I used to own a CRX; so I'll consider myself in. If not, I guess I can break down and ride in Jan's slowass CRX .

Like I said before push, pull or drag and my car will be there. Unless someone can finally say "hey im selling a motor and u can buy it, not im selling a motor, you can wait till i find some gsr or b16 for under 1000 bull" btw im in central fl, looking for a swap, prefer a LS but will work with what i can get.

Anyway, yes it is a CRX meet, which will include 1st,2nd and 3rd gen CRXs.
EVERYONE is welcome to show up, but only CRXs will be featured on the streets of Old Town. Even if you dont own a rex or had one in the past, you are all welcome to come out.
As I may have mentioned before this is a CRX Swap Meet, so please keep your items for sale limited to automotive/Honda/CRX themed items. No alcohol/drug/porno related items for sale! This is a family attraction area.
Also, if you wanna lug that B16 out, no problem! PLEASE make sure it is clean so we are not spilling oil everywhere.
Since we will be working with a local charity, XL1067's Doc&Johnny Baby DJ Fund to help local families who can't afford a Christmas, we are asking all who show up to please bring $5 and a new toy of some kind. It's not much to ask, but it will make a child's day!
Please get the word out and let's make this a top class event!!!

Actually the new Civic HB looks like a mini-van! Like a bread van or milk truck!
All that said, let's just stick to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd (yes, Del Sols are welcome) Gen Rexs.

 

Anybody own a 1st gen CRX??? We didnt have any at our first meet, but I hope we get a few this time.
What I really want to know is who has my old 87 silver CRX Si w/ blue racing stripes on the hood. Anybody see it running around Orlando???

 

Haven't seen your old one, but I could roll down there in my dads black 87 Si. It's stock, but the airbox sounds cool w/ a 5" hole cut in it

Or a 1/2painted 86 Si.
