Thoughts on B16A setup?
Ok, here's the deal.
I'm rebuilding my B16A2, and are spending quite some time researching. Do NOT
want a rod-knock once more, trying ro build something reliable for a weekend warrior.
OEM crank (or Eagle, depends on price for fixing the old OEM one here in Norway)
Eagle "H-profile" rods with ARP studs
Eagle rod bearings or ACL rod /main / thrust (might get a good deal)
OEM B18C6 water and oil pump
B16B pistons (bottom end kit from FJ distributors - 82 mm?)
Hastings rings
BC IV cams
Valves, springs and retainers (open for suggestions as to wich ones, Omnipower?)
Precision 310cc Injectors
Skunk2 IM, Omnipower TB + Hondata intake gasket.
AEM cam gears
And offcourse, Hondata S300 for a good tune, and all new gaskets, o-rings etc.
What would you choose? As i see it, the CTR pistons needs a angry cam to reach
full potensial, wich then again needs larger injectors and tuning. Would this be
a good matchup for an eeger AutoX'er?
