Default What should be considered when replacing Input Shaft Bearing?

D16z6 5-speed

I get a knocking/clicking noise from the tranny whenever I'm idling and have the clutch pedal released so after some research on here I came the conclusion that my ISB was bad. I have the replacement ISB and seal for it. I've been putting this off for a month or two and I would like to get it done this weekend while the car still runs fine and shifts smoothly before any other damage happens. It's my first time pulling the tranny out but I'm confident I can get it done even if it takes all night, I just wanted to know if there's any other bearings/gears I should look at while it's out, maybe even replace.

I would get both mainshaft bearings and check the countershaft bearings carefully. These gearboxes are getting old and more often then not you have a few bearings failing.

ISB and 4 seals, inspect 1-2 and 3-4 shifter forks, stake in countershaft bearing.
