Oil pressure problem on 02 TL
Hey guys, what exactly causes oil pressure to be low? The light just turned on today right when I got to school and parked. I left the ignition on for a bit and it just started revving by itself. I turned off the car and turned it back on a couple minutes later and it was idling like normal, but when I gave it a little gas, it started revving again and then it started vibrating and the VSA and maint req light came on.
This was at 7 in the morning, so could it be possible that the car wasnt warmed up enough? It was louder than usual while on the road. I checked the oil stick and the car has enough oil, and there were certainly no oil leaks under the car. The car wasnt parked on a hill either, so should it be okay to drive? Oh and its the Type-S model. Thanks in advance

It might actually be because the light just turned off by itself today. I'm pretty sure it was because I didnt warm up the car enough that day as it was pretty cold. I let it warm up before I drove it this morning and again during lunch when the weather got warmer. I will have to get the sensor checked out. Thanks rajca
