so i recently put some headers on my integra, i had to custom fit my exhaust and cut some. while doing this i accidently unplugged 1 of the 2 wires on the cat that goes from your exhaust up in the car.thats my o2 sensor right? i have no clue how to plug this back in because the hole is about an inch wide. sorry if this is a stupid question but i just cant put my finger on it. also, would having that unplugged cause my car to run badly, not horribly, but since then its idle has been kind of weird. thanks guys

yeah that's your o2 sensor. and yes, it will cause your car to run a little differently. it basically helps tell your car determine the air/fuel ratio, based on o2 content.

 

so would that effect my car when i race and boggs because every time i race and floor my gsr civic ef it boggs sometimes after when i finish a gear and shift in to the next and it boggs around 5200

 

that could be a million things, but yes, o2 sensor could do that i believe

 

I thought it was the o2 but I didn't want to assume..but can anyone tell me how I replug the wire on the exhaust back up into the car through that little hole? Please!! Thanks
